Hello, I’m Merissa Elizabeth Hickman! I’m currently pursuing my PhD at the University of Leicester. This site is a space where I share my experiences, blog about my research journey, explore ideas that inspire me, and hope to connect with others along the way.
My research is interdisciplinary, and I’m especially interested in engaging with ideas that challenge dominant perspectives and open up new ways of thinking. I would describe myself as both a feminist scholar and a medical sociologist, with a commitment to questioning knowledge hierarchies and exploring alternative approaches.
